Recycling Program

We’re particularly sensitive to safeguarding our natural environment. That’s why we’ve partnered with Armstrong Ceilings – the creator of the nation’s first-of-its-kind Ceiling Recycling Program. As an Armstrong Certified Recycler, we can help with you next renovation project – old acoustical ceilings can be recycled into new Armstrong ceilings. That means reduced landfills in our communities.

How to Recycle Old Ceilings:

Hilume Corporation will confirm that your commercial ceiling tiles are recyclable.
Stack recyclable tile neatly to a height of 4’ on a 4’x4’ pallet, apply shrink wrap for support.
Hilume can do this step for you.
Drop off old ceiling material at our facility or call for pickup details.
Old material is hauled away to an Armstrong manufacturing site where they will be recycled into new Armstrong ceilings.

Safety

Hilume is proud of its solid safety record. Below are a few reasons why we have such a strong safety program.

Corporate safety manual with MSDS Section
All field employees required to attend 10 hr OSHA safety coarse within first year of employment, supervisors receive OSHA 30 hr certifications.
Safety toolbox talks and company pamphlets are reviewed weekly.
Company tools undergo safety checks, Arial lifts annually inspected by manufacturer.
